Yannis Halkiadakis Successfully Defends Dissertation

Yannis Halkiadakis

Yannis Halkiadakis successfully defended his dissertation entitled "Modeling Gait Adaptation in Post-ACL Reconstruction Individuals in Response to Asymmetric Walking Perturbations". In his work, he utilized an asymmetric walking protocol to evaluate how post anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction individuals adopted new gait strategies in response to the gait perturbation. He model this adaptation using computational modeling and machine learning. Congratulations Dr. Halkiadakis!

Her work will investigate “Asymmetric Walking Protocol for Optimal Post-ACL Reconstruction Rehabilitation”. She would like to thank Dr. Ki Chon, Dr. Cato T. Laurencin, and Dr. Brian Noehren who will serve as mentors on this work.
