Ainsley Svetek is a senior student from Burlington, Ontario Canada in the Biomedical Engineering program with a track in Biomaterials and Tissue. Outside of the lab, Ainsley is on the UConn Women’s Hockey team and is the President of the UConn Student Athlete Advisory Committee where she focuses on enhancing the student athlete experience and their involvement within the community. She loves to cook, bake, take her dogs for hikes, and spend time with her friends and family. In the lab she enjoys working with Dr. Morgan to investigate injuries, specifically ACL and lower body injuries, and the long-lasting impact they have on people’s lives. Working in the lab provides Ainsley with the opportunity to learn how to perform data collections as well as interpreting data and understanding how injuries are impactful.
